🧶 A Proper Cable Knit
A raised cable running down the spine, with the rib set close enough to hold its shape after a few washes. The knit is dense enough to keep the wind off a thin-coated back but still gives at the chest, so a whippet can trot without the sweater riding up. The deep crimson does not wash out to pink the way a cheaper dye does.
🐕 Buttons Down the Chest
Three buttons close the chest, so you open it flat, lay it over the dog and close it again instead of wrestling a neck hole over the head. The ribbed collar sits under the chin and the front legs go through separate openings, which keeps the body from twisting when the dog moves. It suits whippets, Italian greyhounds and other narrow-chested dogs that lose heat quickly.
📏 Sizing
Sizes 1 to 6 run from a 30 cm to a 53 cm chest with a 31 cm to 46 cm back. Measure the chest around the widest part behind the front legs and the back from the base of the neck to the tail. The rib gives about 15 cm at the chest and 10 cm at the neck, so a dog measuring between two sizes takes the smaller one for a close fit.
🧺 Care
Soak in cool water with a wool-safe detergent, press the water out in a towel and dry flat so the cables keep their relief. No bleach, no tumble drying, and no wringing. A cool iron on the wrong side is enough to settle the ribbing, and pilling at the friction points is normal on a wool blend.
Shop by Breed
International delivery times vary by region and typically take 10 to 15 days.
To get a perfect fit, kindly measure your pet's three measurements first
- Neck Girth: Wrap the tape around the base of the neck wihere collars sit
- Chest Girth: Measure the widest part of the chest right beehind the front legs;
- Back Length: Measure from the base of the neck (shoulder joint) to the base of the tail.
